Winners Don't Quit: Al shares how his crash and his personal recovery story created his theme Winners Don't Quit. This talk explains how/why he focuses on what he has and not on what he doesn’t have. And he illustrates that Dreams are more powerful than reality. Everybody experiences a crash at some point. Crashes come in many different shapes. This morale booster is adaptable to any venue.

A Crash Course in Change :
CHANGE can create chaos, but only if we let it. Going from an athletic quick thinker to a partially paralyzed, brain-damaged survivor taught Al that, if they’re seen for their possibilities, changes can launch us into exciting new worlds.
AL’S 45 MINUTE CRASH COURSE IN CHANGE
Hearing: “You have to change!” can be scary. To have change suddenly forced on you can be even scarier. Looking for the opportunities in the reality of change can change fear to hope.
A disabling motorcycle crash changed Al’s reality. By adjusting to his new reality, Al began seeing opportunities instead of obstacles. Today, using the tools he will share with you, Al’s writing a better reality than he’s ever known.
Al’s tools help audiences switch from thinking “change” to thinking “adjust.” Adjust sounds more doable. A sailboat doesn’t change destinations but it continually adjusts its course. We also need to adjust ourselves to changing realities, to new situations, to life’s circumstances. Change sounds revolutionary; adjust sounds evolutionary — evolving sounds easy and completely possible.
BELIEVE IN POSSIBILITIES
Al's Comical Perspective : Al does "clean" comedy routines with much humor and some motivational key points taken from different aspects of his rehab journey. This perspective is for times when your agency is having an awards banquet, office party or similar event where levity is appropriate.
